PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a transfer foil capable of preventing the peeling of a detection mark to accurately detect the detection mark. SOLUTION: In the transfer foil 1 equipped with a plurality of transparent resin layers 6, which are formed on a film-like base material 2 in a peelable manner and of which the parts to be heated are peeled by heating to be transferred to the surface of a recording material, and detection marks 7 for detecting the positions of the transparent resin layers 6, the detection marks 7 are formed to the film-like base material 2 so as to be separated from both ends in the width direction of the film-like base material 2.
