Provided is a bead filler rubber composition for the radial tire of a truck or a bus which is improved in blow-out characteristics by preventing the separation of a tire bead part due to the increase of frictional heat between a bead part and a rim. The bead filler rubber composition comprises 100 parts by weight of a rubber material comprising a natural rubber as a main rubber component; 2-20 parts by weight of a highly dispersible silica; 0.2-2 parts by weight of a silane coupling agent; 0.2-2.0 parts by weight of N,N-diphenylguanidine and 0.2-3.0 parts by weight of N-t-butyl benzothiazole sulfenamide as a vulcanization accelerator; and 0.5-5.0 parts by weight of a crosslinking agent. Preferably the highly dispersible silica is a synthetic hydrated silica obtained by precipitation.
