<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide water-base pigment ink for inkjet excellent in a delivery stability and capable of providing a recording image capable of exhibiting high rubbing-resistance from immediately after printing. <P>SOLUTION: The ink contains at least a pigment, one kind or more of sugar alcohol except for glycerine and water. In the water-base pigment ink for inkjet, a content of the sugar alcohol is 3 wt.% to less than 25 wt.% based on the whole amount of the ink and glycerine is contained in an amount of 5 wt.% or less based on the whole amount of the ink.
