<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a security system for limiting the action of an illegal access person when detecting access to confidential information, and for facilitating countermeasures to the illegal access of various configurations such as network communication or a key input. <P>SOLUTION: This security system is provided with a computer 1 equipped with a reader/writer for reading and writing an ID card 2 used for authentication when a user logs in or enters and leaves a region where the computer is installed, a file server 5 which can be accessed by the computer and an illegality monitor for monitoring the presence/absence of any illegal operation to the computer.
