PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a reliable narrow pitch connector for board to board, in which engagement between a first connector and a second connector can be released easily, by reducing the engaging force between first terminals and second terminals, thus the first terminals will not twist at releasing of the engagement and soldering portions between solder tails, and the circuit board will not peel off. SOLUTION: The first terminal includes a first connection with a U-like shape, having a first projection which is disposed on one side surface of an insertion recess and a second projection which is disposed on the other side surface of the insertion recess. The second terminal includes an engagement recess disposed on a side surface of an insertion convex portion, extending in an insertion direction of the insertion convex portion and contacting to the first projection closely. On the tip side of the other side surface which closely contacts the second projection, the insertion convex portion has a concave surface with a level difference as its boundary.
