PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an injection-molded circuit component in which a short circuit between adjacent circuits can hardly occur and a method for producing the component. SOLUTION: In the injection-molded circuit component, the volume ratio V of reinforcing fibers is 0.05-0.5 and the circuits are formed on the surface of a primary molding made of a resin composition in which the average length w (μm) of the reinforcing fibers, the volume ratio V, and the distance L (μm) between the adjacent circuits meet formula (1): L≥-3W/log V. In the production method, a secondarily molded part is insert-molded on the surface of the primary molding formed by injection-molding the resin composition to obtain a two-color molding, a catalyst is supported on the surface of the two-color molding, the secondarily molded part is removed, and a metal layer to be the circuits is selectively formed by chemical plating in a catalyst-carrying area of the surface of the primary molding.
