PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a highly reliable injector inspecting method for performing the performance test of an injector while eliminating the influences of fluorescent in fuel by accurately detecting the leakage or not of the fuel. SOLUTION: The method for inspecting the injector comprises using the fuel containing the fluorescent for hot oil tightness test and then using fuel not containing the fluorescent for reconditioning operation (S2), and then performing the performance test of the injector (S3). The fluorescent is used for accurately detecting the leakage of the fuel from the injector while effectively preventing the residence of the fluorescent in the injector or the deposition on measuring equipment, thus actualizing highly reliable and efficient injector detection having no risk of contamination by the fluorescent.
