PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heat-treatment apparatus for an organic fiber cord effective for preventing the scattering of dip scale and waste textile to the installation site of a burning apparatus. SOLUTION: The heat-treatment apparatus is provided with a heating furnace 1, a combustion chamber 2, a fan duct 3 and a circulation duct 4, the fan duct 3 contains a blower fan 5, and a gas burner 21 is placed in the combustion chamber 2 to generate hot air by burning a fuel. The outlet of the combustion chamber 2 at the upstream end of the fan duct 3 and the inlet of the combustion chamber 2 at the downstream end of the circulation duct 4 are covered with metallic meshes 22 and 23, respectively. A tire cord fabric G of the organic fiber cord is heated with hot air blasted through the slits 11a, 12a, 12b, 13a of nozzle ducts 11, 12, 13 in the course of passing through the spaces P, Q formed between the nozzle ducts 11, 12, 13 and transferred to the outside of the apparatus. The metallic meshes 22 and 23 adsorb the dip scale and waste textile in the hot air and prevent the generation of fire and the deposition of the scale, etc., to a dip fabric.
