PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a transfer foil with an optical diffraction layer, which affords a small lot production and a reduced production cost. SOLUTION: The transfer foil comprises an exfoliation layer, the optical diffraction layer, a reflecting layer and an adhesive layer laminated sequentially on a substrate. The reflecting layer is made in an arbitrary pattern, by printing with a high brightness ink containing metal vapor deposited sheet splits surface treated with a cellulose derivative, instead of the vacuum film forming method.
