PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a chair type massage machine capable of effectively treating the heel and the sole. SOLUTION: The chair type massage machine 1 comprises: a seat surface 3a for a person h to be treated to sit; a projection 5t for the arch of a foot where a sitting person h to be treated can put the arch h6 of the foot on; and a heel treating air cell 53 capable of clamping and pressurizing the heel h3 in a foot mounted state that the arch h6 of the foot is put on the projection 5t for the arch of the foot.
