PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the occurrence of a fault due to an excessive bubble accumulation in a washing process. SOLUTION: The electric washing machine comprises: a washing and dehydrating tub 2 for housing laundry; a pulsating blade board 4 provided on a bottom part inside the washing and dehydrating tub; an outer tub 6 including the washing and dehydrating tub; a washing and dehydration driving device 8 for executing the washing process of rotationally driving the pulsating blade board and the dehydration process of rotationally driving the pulsating blade board and the washing and dehydrating tub integrally; a water supply solenoid valve 8 for supplying water into the outer tub; a water discharge solenoid valve 31 for discharging water from the inside of the outer tub; and a controller 49 for controlling the washing and dehydration driving device, the water supply solenoid valve and the water discharge solenoid valve. The controller rotationally drives the pulsating blade board for prescribed time in the middle of the washing process, then rotationally drives the pulsating blade board and the washing and dehydrating tub integrally, detects an inertia rotation speed after stopping the rotational drive, estimates a generated bubble storage amount inside the outer tub on the basis of the detected result, and executes the control processing of ending the washing process and advancing to the next water discharging and rinsing process when the estimated bubble accumulation amount exceeds a predetermined value.
