A power supply circuit for a traveling wave tube amplifier is provided to prevent distortion of an amplified waveform by reducing arc energy generated in the amplifier. An arc energy reduction circuit is connected to a first terminal via a cable. A second terminal is connected to a collector terminal via a first resistor and a second resistor which are connected to each other in series. A third terminal is connected to a cathode via a third resistor and a ripple suppression filter. A first condenser is interposed between the first terminal and the third terminal, and a second condenser is interposed between the third terminal and a contact point of the first and second resistors. |
