<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image processor capable of obtaining a magnification image with high image quality at high speed with less loads on processing. <P>SOLUTION: Concerning an image magnifying program to be operated in the image processor, an image block feature value calculating part 420 calculates edge intensity in an area to be noticed in an image block, determines whether the area to be noticed is a featured block or a non-featured block, and determines whether the block is a same-color block or a boundary block when the block is the featured block. A high quality image block generating part 430 generates magnification image blocks by applying different methods to the featured block determined as the same-color block and the featured block determined as the boundary block. A high speed magnification processing part 440 performs magnification processing to input image data.
