<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image reproducing apparatus capable of speedily and smoothly retrieving attribute information, displaying only an image file satisfying the retrieved attribute information in a calendar, and calende-reproducing only the image file. <P>SOLUTION: A digital camera being the image reproducing apparatus is provided with: an operation part 15 which performs specification of an object for calendar display expressed by a first display unit and specification of the attribute information set in a representative image to be reproduced, displayed and so on; a system component 5 which performs processing to select image files concerning a second display unit constituting the specified object for calendar display for every second display unit and calendar-displays the representative image in a built-in LCD 12; and the like.
