<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an audio device capable of realizing an optimal sound field for a state of actually hearing sound in a compartment etc. without requiring operations troublesome to users in a process of setting speakers. <P>SOLUTION: The audio device includes speakers, a sensor arranged at a hearing point so as to detect sounds radiating from the speakers, a control unit equipped with a function of measuring a delay time from the speakers to the sound hearing point based on the detection result of the sensor, and a memory unit storing data in the range of two or more previously set distances. Distances between the speakers and the sound hearing point are calculated (S8) from the delay times (S1 to S7) measured through the function as to the speakers, and a setting process (S9 and S10) is carried out to allot the speakers based on the comparison and collation of the calculation result with the range of two or more distances stored in the memory unit. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
