<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a light-emitting module which can improve optical coupling efficiency, and to provide a single-core two-way optical communication module. <P>SOLUTION: In the light-emitting module, a light-emitting element and a light-emitting side lens are closely held by a holder extending from a part of a system in parallel with the outgoing light of the light-emitting element. Light emitted by the light-emitting element is refracted. The single-core two-way optical communication module is provided with the light-emitting module, and collimating lenses are arranged near an optical fiber and a light-receiving element. Separation of light to the light-receiving module or connection of light from the light-emitting module is performed by parallel light. The respective collimating lenses condense parallel light to an incoming/outgoing end face of the optical fiber, condense parallel light to the light-receiving face of the light-receiving element, and emit outgoing light from the light-emitting module as parallel light. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
