<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wireless tag communication device capable of suitably setting communication directivity with a wireless tag in response to communication objective. <P>SOLUTION: The device has a plurality of antenna elements 34 and comprises an array antenna 36 capable of changing distance between at least two antenna elements 34 to be used for communication with the wireless tag 14 therebetween, and a PAA wait control unit 48 for controlling the communication directivity with the wireless tag 14 by setting wait for changing at least its phase of each signal responding to the antenna elements 34 in response to mutual distance between the antenna elements 34 in the array antenna 36. Consequently, the communication directivity can be suitably determined by setting a predetermined wait in response to its distance in addition to the capability of arbitrary control of directivity characteristics by changing the mutual distance between the antenna elements 34 relating to the communication with the wireless tag 14. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
