PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a resistor for current detection which can maintain a display stably for a secular variation after mounting without causing indicative extinction, even if the resistor for current detection is used in a severe environment for a long time. SOLUTION: The resistor for current detection is provided with a resistive object 11 composed of a metal plate, and a pair of electrodes 12 and 12 composed of highly conductive metal conductors joined by both ends of the resistive object. The surface of the resistive object has a flat face where a display 15 of the resistor is arranged on the upper surface of resistance object 11b of the upper part of the pair of electrodes 12 and 12.
