PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a camera module which can be manufactured with stable yield even in joining a lens holder and a molding with adhesive agent, and to provide a manufacturing method of the camera module. SOLUTION: The camera module includes; the resin molding 6 equipped with an imager 10; and the lens holder 4A which is attached to the resin molding 6 while holding an imaging lens 2. The lens holder 4A has three or more columnar projections 4Aa of the same height formed on the bottom surface facing the resin molding 6. By bringing the projections 4Aa in contact with the resin molding 6, a gap is formed between the lens holder 4A and the resin molding 6.
