PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a signal coupling unit having a reduced effect upon radio facilities placed in the vicinity of a signal line, by suppressing the leakage of a magnetic field externally from the signal line for connecting between a PLC modem and the signal coupling unit. SOLUTION: The signal coupling unit includes a signal coupling material having a hollow portion through which a power line penetrates, a penetration penetrating the above hollow portion with insulation and coating, and a signal line for connecting the both ends of the penetration to the modem and having a first transmitter and a second transmitter for transmitting the PLC signal.
