PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a ridge beam for ventilation of a roof by which a wood resource can be effectively used without a need for secondary processing of hole drilling. SOLUTION: In the ridge beam for ventilation of the roof, a ridge beam material is divided into two in its longitudinal direction to obtain a pair of ridge beam members 2a, 2b. The ridge beam members 2a, 2b are arranged to face each other leaving a predetermined space. An interposing member 3 having a honeycomb structure is arranged in the space. The ridge beam members 2a, 2b and the interposing member 3 are fastened together in an integrating manner to obtain the ridge beam 1 having a predetermined thickness.
