PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a shutter which realizes a balance between a spring torque and a slat torque by a simple constitution. SOLUTION: This shutter 100 is equipped with a shutter curtain 17 for opening and closing an opening 13, a guide rail 21 for guiding edges 17a on both sides along the opening and closing directions of the shutter curtain 17 which is provided in the opening 13, and an urging means for urging the shutter curtain 17 in a roll-up direction. The guide rail 21 is provided with a resistance means for reducing an urging force, exerted in the roll-up direction by the urging means just before the full opening of the shutter curtain 17 and/or immediately after the full closing thereof, by using friction.
