PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an additional beam structure which enables an additional beam for bearing a staircase and heavy loads such as a storage, a solar battery, a solar water heater and a seismic control device to be simply installed by using a sufficiently bearing structure, for example, when an external staircase communicating with an unused roof floor is post-installed or when the heavy loads to be post-installed on the roof floor. SOLUTION: This structure, in which the additional beam is provided on the roof floor of an existing steel-framed house, is characterized as follows: a plurality of mounting fittings 14 are fixed onto the existing beam 12 in such a manner as to pass through a plurality of openings 22 from which a roof-floor constituting material 19 above the existing beam 12 is removed; and the additional beam 15 is fixed astride the plurality of mounting fittings.
