PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize an information medium high in security properties and simply detectable. SOLUTION: This fluorescent pattern-forming material is equipped with a first layer 2 containing a metal ion and a second layer 3 disposed to face the first layer 2 and containing a ligand increasing fluorescence intensity based on the metal ion by coordinating the ligand to the metal ion in the first layer 2, which can improve the contrast ratio of the fluorescence, and enables to realize an information medium high in security properties and simply detectable.
