PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a system capable of conveying a large number of plate-like members at once and capable of shifting the plate-like members in a target order of storage in a short time and with reduced space. SOLUTION: In a conveyance system 1, storage containers 20 loading liquid crystal glass 2 are conveyed. In the storage container 20, one liquid crystal glass 2 is placed thereon, conveyed with a state where the storage containers are stacked in layers, and a shift device 4 is disposed to shift the order of the stacking of the stacked storage containers 20. The shift device 4 has: a separation device 5 separating the target storage container 20 from the stacked storage containers 20; a refuge device 6 temporally making the target storage container 20 refuge; conveyers 50, 50 carrying the target storage container 20 out from the separation device 5 to the refuge device 6; a space forming device 7 forming a space in which the target storage container 20 is carried to be the order of the stacking different from the storage containers in the separation device 5; and a conveyer 60 for conveying the storage container from the refuge device 6 into the space forming device 7.
