<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable a user to select print object files extending over a plurality of folders and, by specifying a folder selected in the past, to confirm a file in the folder. <P>SOLUTION: A print control device is provided with a folder list display region 2006 for displaying the tree structure of folders, and a file list display region 2009 for displaying a list of image data files in the selected folder. When the new folder is selected in the folder list display region 2006, its pass name is added to the folder list. When there is a file with a print number of "1" or more within the file list display region 2009, the file name and the print number are added to the file list related to the folder list.
