摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a dual injection system with a port injection valve and an cylinder injection valve for maintaining the properly operated condition of an internal combustion engine by actively controlling an intake valve temperature with the adjustment of an injection rate. <P>SOLUTION: The fuel injection control device sets a port injection rate R in accordance with a basic injection rate R1 which is changed every second corresponding to the operated condition of the engine when the intake valve temperature TV is within a proper range. On the other hand, when the intake valve temperature TV exceeds an upper limit value TVH for the proper range, the port injection rate R is fixed to a value [1] greater than the basic injection rate R1 to reduce the intake valve temperature TV, and when the intake valve temperature TV falls bellow a lower limit valve TVL for the proper range, the port injection rate R is fixed to a value [0] smaller than the basic injection rate R1 to increase the intake valve temperature TV.
