PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve a transmission success probability of a frame used for the acknowledgement of the transmission of a BlockAck frame and a BlockAckRequest frame or the like.

SOLUTION: The wireless communication apparatus adopting a communication system wherein part of an acquired transmission period can be shared with the other wireless communication apparatus being a receiver side as its data transmission period in the case of acquiring the transmission period for data transmission and carrying out the data transmission includes a generating means that generates a first physical frame including a transmission acknowledgement frame with respect to received data and a second physical frame aggregated with a plurality of transmission data frames, and a transmission means that transmits the first physical frame at a first transmission rate and transmits the second physical frame at a second transmission rate after a lapse of a prescribed period from a transmission point of time of the first physical frame.
