<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a settlement server for reducing leakage risks of the private information caused by a communication wiretap and peep by receiving a billing ID from a user terminal, collating a settlement inquiry and a settlement connection on the basis of the billing ID, requesting private information, receiving the private information from the user terminal, transmitting settlement results to the user terminal, and transmitting the results of the settlement inquiry to the settlement terminal. <P>SOLUTION: The settlement terminal transmits the settlement inquiry to the settlement server. The user terminal performs a settlement connection with the settlement server in order to settle accounts using connection information of a card.
