<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and an apparatus for treating waste water efficiently, in each of which an advantage of granule-used biological treatment is put to practical use to stably continue to treat waste water at a high speed, the energy to be consumed when air is blown is kept to the absolute minimum and a formed granule is not destroyed. <P>SOLUTION: The method for treating waste water comprises the steps of: forming the microbe-incorporated granule in a reaction unit; and making waste water containing the substance to be treated pass through the reaction unit to bring waste water into contact with the formed granule and treat the substance to be treated. The waste water in the reaction unit is aerated so that the concentration of dissolved oxygen in the reaction unit becomes≥0.5 mg/L. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT</p> |
