PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a production method of a seat pad for a vehicle which is excellent in a sitting feeling and a riding feeling and is light in weight. SOLUTION: A vacant hole 6 communicating with the outside is extended in the seat pad 1. A core 10 is disposed to be laid between anchors 23 and 24. An upper mold 21 is put after the core 10 is set in a lower mold 22 and an urethane foam raw solution is supplied, and the seat pad 1 is molded by heating and foaming the solution after the mold is clamped. Then, the molds are opened and the seat pad 1 is removed from the molds. Consequently, the core 10 which remains in the seat pad 1 is dissolved in a solvent and is removed.
