PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To supply an inexpensive film capacitor having stable, constant humidity resistance and improve humidity resistance regardless of a variation in a manufacturing process, in the reliability of the film capacitor. SOLUTION: The film capacitor for achieving the purpose has an element which is formed into a columnar shape by winding a film on a columnar core, and a protruding portion which is formed on a dielectric plate to which a terminal is fixed, the protruding portion is close-fitted to the core of the element, and the element is positioned at the center of an armor case.
