PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a switching device using an actuator capable of accelerating a response speed at the time of switching operation with a working member with a small movement volume, with a simple structure and easy to manufacture. SOLUTION: The actuator 4 of the switching device in one implementation mode has a projection part 4d formed as a pressing part capable of pressing an outside movement member 6. When the movement member 6 is made to move in a direction of an arrow mark D parallel with one of the side walls 2a with a support part 4b supported in free rotation by a rotating support part 2c of a case 2, the projection part 4d is pressed by the side wall 2a to enable the actuator 4 to rotate with the support part 4b as a fulcrum, where, a rotating volume of the projection part 4d when the actuator 4 is rotated in the direction of an arrow mark E by moving the movement member 6 in one direction of the arrow mark D is larger than that in the one direction of the movement member 6.
