AGING METHOD OF IMAGE DISPLAY DEVICE

摘要

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an aging method of an image display device showing stable discharge characteristics with dielectric breakdown inside a panel restrained, through restraint of an electric power volume and a calorific volume at aging treatment. SOLUTION: A drive voltage of repeated aging voltage waveforms is impressed on a first electrode and second electrode as a scanning electrode and a sustaining electrode, with alternation of a pulse period including a period in which voltage is changed toward a direction of positive voltage against a grounding potential, and a pulse period including a period in which voltage is changed in a direction of negative voltage against the grounding potential.
