PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a dome type pushing switch improved in corrosion resistance and wear resistance of a dome shape metal spring. SOLUTION: The dome type pushing switch 100 is provided with a dome shape metal spring 120 made of a thin metal plate of stainless steel or phosphor bronze, and a rhodium layer is formed on the surface of the metal spring through an Ag layer. Since this rhodium layer has an excellent corrosion resistance and also a high hardness (Vickers hardness Hv=800-1,000), and shows stable characteristics for a long period of time, a dome type pushing switch with improved corrosion resistance and wear resistance can be obtained even with an extremely thin layer formation.
