PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide on-vehicle equipment provided with a reader for information recording media such as a DVD-ROM, wherein an insertion port for information recording media is more surely closed to surely prevent intrusion of dust. SOLUTION: A movable panel 7 provided in the front of a main body 2 changes its tilt angle while moving in a longitudinal direction. A projection 16 is provided on a rear side of the movable panel 7 and is configured so that a front end part of the projection 16 is inserted into the insertion port 6 to allow outer peripheral slopes 14a and 14b to abut on an opening peripheral edge of the insertion port 6 when the movable panel 7 is placed in a close position to hide a front side of the main body 2.
