PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming method which adopts a fixing process whereby a toner on a transfer material is heat-fixed and transported outside the system by a contact transport mechanism, and provides an excellent toner image without unevenness of brightness. SOLUTION: The image forming method has a mechanism to fix a toner image of an electrostatic charge image developing toner at least containing a resin, a coloring agent, and a mold release agent formed on an image forming support on the image forming support by heat, and transport it outside the system by a contact transport mechanism. The image forming method is characterized by the fact that the difference between the heat generation starting temperature and the heat generation ending temperature is 10-50°C when the mold release agent is cooled in a differential scanning calorimeter.
