PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a compact turning angle detector for detecting the turning of a sector gear turned by a gear. SOLUTION: The detector comprises the turnably supported sector gear 38, a sector gear driving motor 39, mounted with the gear 42 to be meshed with the sector gear 38, and a potentiometer 41 for detecting the turning angle of the sector gear 38, attached within a movable range of the sector gear 38. The potentiometer 41 and the sector gear driving motor 39 are arranged on the surface side of the sector gear 38 and on the reverse side thereof, respectively. COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT
