PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an overhead traveling crane capable of inexpensively turning a suspended conveyed member and changing its conveyance direction, and a conveying method. SOLUTION: In this overhead traveling crane, traveling girders 11, 12 hung between a pair of traveling rails arranged in parallel at a predetermined interval on a ceiling and movable along the traveling rails are inclined with respect to a traveling axis p of the traveling rails.
