PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the motion performance of the tire by setting rubber elastic modulus within a predetermined area from the ground contact end of the tread section asymmetrically in the right and left in a pneumatic tire having a plurality of tire air chambers. SOLUTION: Since one side rubber elastic modulus TMI is set larger than the other rubber elastic modulus TMO for the rubber elastic modulus of the tread section 16 in a shoulder area 36, the distribution of the ground contact pressure of the shoulder area 36 becomes asymmetric and the lateral force F from the side having a tread rubber of the rubber elastic modulus TMO toward the side having the tread rubber of the rubber elastic modulus TMI is generated. The lateral force F is generated from the outside of the tire mounted to the vehicle toward the inside and the operation stability becomes very excellent by making the side having the tread rubber of the rubber elastic modulus TMI be the inside of the tire mounted to the vehicle and making the side having the tread rubber of the rubber elastic modulus TMO be the outside of the tire mounted to the vehicle.
