PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technology effective for detecting information on a peripheral structure of a track on which a vehicle travels with high accuracy and at low cost. SOLUTION: A vehicle 200 for measurement to constitute a structure information detector has a slide table 241 on a traveling truck 210 which can travel along a track, a centering mechanism 250 for permitting the slide movement in the right-to-left direction of the slide table 241 so as to set the reference part of the slide table 241 on the track center L, and a contact type detector 220 for directly detecting an arbitrary peripheral structure within a building limit with the track center L through an outer circumferential surface of a rail R as a base point.
