PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hydraulic press where a pressurization source optimum for the pressurized state of a slide can be adopted, pressurization force can be made high without enlarging a liquid pressure generation source, and further, the degree of freedom in the amount of a stroke can be highly held. SOLUTION: The hydraulic press comprises: a slide 5; a main cylinder 6 of working the slide 5; and a liquid pressurization source of pressurizing a working fluid. The fluid pressurization source is provided with: a low pressure side pressurization source of pressurizing the working fluid in the main cylinder 6 in the case pressurizing force generated by the slide 5 is low; and a high pressure side pressurization source 20 of pressurizing the working fluid in the main cylinder 6 in the case pressurization force generated by the slide 5 is high. The low pressure side pressurization source is composed of a hydraulic unit 10 provided with a pump for feeding the pressurized working fluid into the main cylinder 6, and the high pressure side pressurization source 20 is composed of: a pressurization member 21 inserted into the main cylinder 6; and a pressurization member moving means of inserting and separating the pressurization member 21 to the inside of the main cylinder 6.
