PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the contrast noise ratio of an X-ray image created by an X-ray device. SOLUTION: This method for calculating weight coefficients peculiar to absorbers to improve the contrast noise ratio dependent on the absorbers in an X-ray image of a subject to be examined created by an X-ray device includes: the determining of a first spectrum 11 for a first standard subject having no absorber, the derivation of detector output signals corresponding to the first spectrum in relation to each of the two energy windows of a detector, the determination of a second spectrum for a second spectrum 12 for a second standard subject having absorbers; the derivation of detector output signals corresponding to the second spectrum in relation to each of the two energy windows 7, 8, 9, and 10 of the detector; and the calculation of the weight coefficients 1, 2, 3, and 4 corresponding to the energy windows 7, 8, 9, and 10 of the detector respectively based on the detector output signals derived from the first and second spectra 11, 12.
