The brush has a coupling piece (5) coupling to a tool retainer (4) of an interdental cleaner (1) and designed in a plastically deformable manner. A long, pencil-shaped bristles body is movable in interdental spaces in a longitudinal direction. The body has a bundle (9) of bristles-like filaments (12) oriented in the longitudinal direction of the body, where the filaments have an anti-bacterial surface coating. The filaments have an outer contour different from a cylinder form and/or a structured surface. An independent claim is also included for an interdental cleaner comprising an interdental brush.
