<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a package for a light-emitting device that converts a short wavelength light including an ultraviolet light to a visible light, which gives excellent reliability and stable light-emitting characteristics by suppressing deterioration of a resin adhesive that bonds a base and a frame to prevent leakage of a liquid fluorescent material for a long period of time, and to provide a light-emitting device using the package thereof. <P>SOLUTION: The package comprises a base 2 and a frame 4 which is bonded onto the base by an acrylic-based resin adhesive 6.
