摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrooptical apparatus capable of uniforming the luminance gradient of a large display panel having mesh-like power supply wires as much as possible. <P>SOLUTION: The electrooptical apparatus comprises light emitting elements arrayed like a matrix, mesh-like power supply wires for supplying a driving current to respective light emitting elements and a power supply for supplying the driving current from the right and left end part sides and upper and lower end part sides of the power supply wires to the power supply wires to reproduce an image on a display panel 1 formed by the light emitting elements. The power supply wires are formed so that driving current supply capacity through the power supply wires arrayed along the X-axis direction of the display panel 1 is larger than driving current supply capacity through the power supply wires arrayed along the Y-axis direction of the display panel 1 to uniform the gradient of luminance distribution along the X-axis direction, and a main control circuit 17 controls the light emitting duty of the light emitting elements arrayed along the Y-axis direction to uniform the gradient of luminance distribution along the Y-axis K direction. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT
