<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a twin scroll turbine housing for a turbocharger, constructed to improve the performance and durability of a waste gate valve. <P>SOLUTION: In the turbine housing, unnecessary moment does not operate on the waste gate valve 8A because exhaust pulsating pressure from a second waste gate port 9C and exhaust pulsating pressure from a first waste gate port 9B uniformly operates alternately on a central portion of a valve face 8A3 of the waste gate valve 8A and on a concentric portion therearound. As a result, small vibration is suppressed when closing the waste gate valve 8A to improve the close contact of the valve face 8A3 of the waste gate valve 8A with a seat face 9A of a valve seat part 9 and prevent the vibration noises of the waste gate valve 8A. Great vibration is also suppressed when opening the waste gate valve 8A to suppress the wear and fatigue breakage of a supporting pin 8A1 and an engaging head 8A2 of the waste gate valve 8A and the front end of an operation arm 8E. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT</p> |
