PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily confirm whether received data stored in a first data storage section are backed up in a second data storage. SOLUTION: Upon giving a display command from an operator, a facsimile machine displays name information, representing received data stored in a fist data storage 102, and name information representing received data stored in a second data storage 104 side by side on a liquid display unit 76, in a state of making the name information correspond to each other.
