发明名称 METHOD OF MANUFACTURING MULTILAYER CERAMIC CAPACITOR
摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of manufacturing a multilayer ceramic capacitor of which the effective area ratio of an internal electrode is large for less shorting failure with smaller size. SOLUTION: A ceramic raw sheet and a conductive layer of band-like pattern are cut and separated in a later process to be respective internal electrodes, and are stacked to form a laminate 8. A cutting groove is formed at the parts corresponding to the side surfaces of stacked ceramic capacitor of the laminate 8. After a cleaning liquid containing powder is jetted against the cutting groove for cleaning, the cutting groove is packed with a ceramic paste 11, which is cut to pieces at second cutting grooves 12. The pieces are fired to provide a sintered compact. The ceramic paste 11 formed on the side surface of the laminate 8 becomes the width of a margin on the side surface of the stacked ceramic capacitor. So, the width of margin is narrower, and effective area ratio is larger to manufacture a multilayer ceramic capacitor of less shorting between the internal electrodes at a good productivity.
