PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid crystal display device capable of leading the static electricity of a human body from rim members to back plate members even though additional grounding metalwares are not used, thereby preventing an adverse influence on a liquid crystal panel when the static electricity is carried into an installation place of the device. SOLUTION: The metallic rim members 6 for holding the liquid crystal panel 5 in the resin casing frame 1 and the metallic back plate members 8 equipped with a circuit board 200 are put in place on both sides holding the casing frame 1 in-between and these are screwed to the casing frame 1. First projecting pieces 62 on the rim member 6 side and the second rim members 83 on the back plate member 8 side are put in place on both sides across the same points of flanges 12 of the casing frame 1. These projecting pieces 62, 63 are tightened by screws 10 consisting of headed screws. Grounding electric paths for electrically conducting the rim members 6 to the back plate members 8 are formed by the projecting pieces 62, 63 and the screws 10. COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT
